The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults, (OCIA, formerly RCIA), is a pathway to conversion and a means of entry into life in Christ through the Catholic Church for adults and teens who are coming from other faith experiences or from non-faith backgrounds. It also provides a means of completing Initiation into the Faith for those who were Baptized but who never received the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and/or Confirmation. The OCIA experience at St. Christopher Church includes weekly group meetings with one or more Catechists from September through Pentecost Sunday, along with regular Sunday Mass attendance.
