Flame of Love Prayer Cenacle
The Flame of Love prayer cenacle meets on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. in the Buckley Room (entrance near the outdoor Stations of the Cross) to learn about the writings of Elizabeth Kindelmann OCDS and to pray for an outpouring of God’s grace in our community and on mankind.
The Flame of Love is a gift of grace from God and the Blessed Virgin Mary, a greater infusion of the life of Christ in each recipient’s life. The principal effects of the Flame of Love are the following: To Blind Satan, To Save Souls via Sanctification, To Save the Family, To Free Souls from Purgatory, and To Convert the World through the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
To achieve this, Jesus and the Virgin Mary described a Weekly Agenda with spiritual practices for each day. It includes fasting for the souls in Purgatory on Mondays, offering prayers for priestly vocations on Wednesdays, and making Reparation to the Blessed Sacrament on Thursdays to cite a few examples.
In our weekly meetings we discuss the practices, Elizabeth’s spiritual diary, the role of God’s grace in our lives, and we pray a modified version of the Rosary to assist in Mary’s cause.
